New York City Traithlon


New York Triathlon is upon us, this is one of the biggest if not the biggest Triathlon in the tri-state. Last year 3500 people participated.
Here is what is going on.

  • 12:00 PM - 7:00 PM Mandatory Age Group Briefings (every half hour, beginning on the half hour), Registration and Packet Pickup at the Hilton New York
  • 7:30 PM Chipotle Underwear Run/Central Park, start and finish at the Finish Line.

  • 8:00 AM Doggy Du Mandatory Briefing at Hilton NY with transition tour to follow

  • 3:45 PM Special screening of "Armed for the Challange," a documentary film on Willie Stewart, 2002 Paralympic Silver Medalist and 3-time Ironman World Triathlete - brought to you by Accenture
  • 2:00 PM - 9:00 PM Mandatory Bike Check-in / Riverside Park & 79th Street Ball Field
  • 2:30 PM - 5:30 PM RCN High-Speed Transition Zone Bike Tours, every half hour / Riverside Park & 79th Street

  • 5:50 AM Nautica New York City Triathlon Starts / Swim Start - 99th Street & Hudson River (Wave info will be posted two weeks prior to the race)
  • 7:57 AM Doggy Du Start
  • 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM JetBlue Airways Finish Fest Celebration - awards, entertainment, food, and more / Central Park at Dead Road

  • 2:00 PM RCN High-Speed Transition Zone Closes
