Orbea and Crowie Part Ways.
from Slow Twitch
Orbea Bicycles, along with its sister brand Orca Wetsuits, has announced the dissolution of its endorsement agreement with Craig Alexander, effective immediately, and by mutual agreement.
Alexander began with Orca in 2001, and commenced riding Orbea's bikes in 2005. The Orbea brand in particular had become closely attached to Alexander's rise as a premier long distance athlete. Alexander won the Hawaiian Ironman twice on Orbea's timed race machines, along with a 70.3 world title as well.
“We are saddened and very disappointed that Orbea’s and Orca’s association with Craig has come to an end,” said Tony Karklins of Orbea USA. “Craig was always the consummate professional in every way, and was a valued representative for our brands. We will miss him greatly, both as a friend and spokesperson, and wish him all the best in his quest to win an Ironman World Championship this weekend.”

Vancouver, 6 July 2010 - New for 2010, ITU has introduced segment rankings, which will reward the best swimmer, biker and runner throughout the Dextro Energy Triathlon ITU World Championship Series. Athletes will be able to score points at each of the seven Series events, with the crown of best swimmer, biker or runner being awarded after the Grand Final in Budapest. In total, $60,000 in segment rankings bonuses will be awarded at the end of the season ($10,000 per gender, per each discipline).

Bike Body Position video
At Think Tri, we are about making you faster by showing or telling you way's to accomplish that! Now not to take anyone away from ThinkTri.com, but YouTube is one of the best places to find hundreds of videos, from swimming to biking and even running. What I am trying to do is find the best so that you don't have to, keeping you in one place, ThinkTri.
This video is about body position on a bike and finding the comfort level, based on body position, it can even give you some knowledge when purchasing a bike. What I find the best part and most overlooked for most triathlete's is the shifters and breaks on the aero-bars (Profile Design). Having the shifters and breaks on the ends of your bars keeps you in the tuck position enabling a great stream and not having to sit up or move around to shift or break.
Check it out!
